Roast chicken with herb-butter, served with potato and sweet potato wedges

Ingredients
Chicken:
- 1 Whole chicken
- Salt
- Pepper
- Coarse salt
Stuffing:
- 2 Leeks
- 1 Celery stalk
- 1 Carrot
- 1/2 Onion
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 Apple
Herb Butter:
- 1 Stick of butter
- Parsley
- Thyme
- 1 Garlic clove
- Oregano
- Lemon juice
Side Dish:
- 500g Potatoes
- 500g Sweet potatoes
- Garlic
- Parsley
- Butter
- Salt
Instructions:
Chicken:
- Preheat the MB Chef Oven to the desired temperature (recommendation: 500°F).
- Clean and season the chicken with salt and pepper, both inside and out.
- Place the chicken in a roasting pan and sprinkle coarse salt on top.
Stuffing:
- Finely chop leeks, celery, carrot, onion, garlic, and apple.
- Stuff the chicken with this mixture.
Herb Butter:
- Melt the butter in a pan and add finely chopped parsley, thyme, minced garlic, oregano, and lemon juice to taste.
- Brush the chicken with this herb butter.
- Roast in the MB Chef Oven until the chicken is golden brown and well-cooked.
Side Dish:
- Cut potatoes and sweet potatoes into wedges.
- Place the wedges on a baking tray, add chopped garlic, parsley, butter chunks, and salt to taste.
- Bake until the wedges are golden and tender.
Serve the roast chicken with herb-butter alongside potato and sweet potato wedges. Enjoy your meal!
